How To Unbrick Samsung Galaxy S3

If you have bricked your Samsung Galaxy S3 due to any reason and it is a soft brick then below procedure will help you unbrick galaxy s3 easily by installing the stock boot image in order to bring your Samsung Galaxy S3 in working condition. If your galaxy is hard bricked then there is only one option that is via OEM support and if it is soft bricked don’t worry just follow below steps and enjoy.

How To Unbrick Samsung Galaxy

In order to unbrick the Samsung Galaxy S3 we will need to just install or flash the official Android stock boot image which we can do using the Odin tool that will help us to bring our galaxy s3 in normal working condition.

In order to continue you need to make sure that the USB drivers are installed on your computer and you can connect your device using the USB cable. So here are the steps to unbrick Galaxy S3

You need to download and run the android flashing software i.e. Odin3 from below given download link:

Now download the official stock image file specific to your device from below links and keep the file in its original format i.e. no need to unzip the boot tar file, we will use this image file to unbrick galaxy device:

Run the Odin program and you will see a window as shown below, by default two options are already selected i.e. Auto Reboot and F. Reset Time, if not selected just select them.

Rooting Galaxy S3

Now you need to boot your samsung galaxy s3 in download mode, turn it off and press and hold Home + Volum Down keys for few seconds and press Power button for 2 seconds and you will see a warning message on the device screen release all buttons and press volume up and device will go in download mode.

Now connect the galaxy s3 to the computer and you will see in Odin window the status will say Added! In order to select the stock image file in the Odin window click PDA and when asked browse and select the .tar stock file which we already downloaded, and click START.

After some time the device will reboot and now it will be unbricked, Enjoy!
